- To promote, safeguard and protect the interests of its members and the spouses of deceased members and to continue the fellowship established during service in the Permanent Defence Forces.
- To advise and help its members and the spouses of deceased members in the area of pensions and related matters.
- To do everything that shall be conducive to the attainment of the above objectives. To develop strategies which will contribute to keeping the Association relevant to its membership.
